Best Time to Visit Rethymno

Rethymno is one of Crete’s most balanced destinations — great in shoulder seasons (May, June, September) when the old town is lively but not overrun. Summer brings reliable beach weather but also heat above 30 °C and full restaurants in the Venetian harbour. Spring is excellent for the Amari valley’s wildflowers and quieter southern beaches.
