Experience summary

This evening quad safari tour in Crete runs in the late afternoon, when the light changes and the heat of the day has passed. Starting from Malia with pick-up between 16:00 and 16:30, the group rides for approximately 3.5 hours through off-road terrain, olive groves, mountain paths, and traditional coastal villages, with a guide leading throughout. The experience covers the same essential landscape as the day tour but in a different light, literally and in atmosphere. You climb to the Chapel of Prophet Elias on a dirt path through olive groves, with late afternoon sun across the hills. From there the route crosses an off-road stretch through vineyards and olive forest before stopping at a local olive oil production facility for a guided tour and tasting. The group then continues along mountain dirt roads to the historic Cave of Milatos, an unusual stop that combines a short hike, wild herb gathering, and photography in the gorge. The tour finishes with a coastal ride through the narrow streets of the traditional fishing villages of Milatos and Sissi. No previous riding experience is required. Before departure, the local guide runs a full ATV briefing so beginners are comfortable on the CF450cc/520cc automatic quads before the group sets off. The evening format works particularly well for couples and smaller groups who want something physical and local without committing to a full day. It also suits travelers who have other plans in the morning and want an experience that uses the afternoon and early evening productively.
